Attorney Laura A. Cappuccio
Attorney Cappuccio was born and raised in Merrimack, New Hampshire. She attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science with a minor in Economics in 2006. After college, she worked for two years as an administrative assistant with Bianco Professional Association, a general practice law firm in Concord, New Hampshire before continuing on to pursue a legal education.
Attorney Cappuccio earned her Juris Doctorate from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington, D.C. in 2011. During the time she was attending law school, she interned with the Mid-Atlantic chapter of the Innocence Project, the Montgomery County Office of the Public Defender in Rockville, Maryland, as well as the State's Attorney's Office for Montgomery County. She returned to work as a volunteer attorney with the Public Defender's Office for an additional six months after passing the Maryland Bar exam. Attorney Cappuccio also successfully passed the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Bar exams simultaneously after returning to New Hampshire in 2012.
Attorney Cappuccio was previously employed as an associate attorney in Lowell, Massachusetts focusing primarily in the areas of criminal defense and social security disability. In August 2014, Attorney Cappuccio joined the Bartis Law team and will be practicing Criminal Defense, Family Law, Estate Planning, Personal Injury, and Civil Litigation. Attorney Cappuccio is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Women's Bar Association.
